A web page will not make you a millionaire overnight. The internet is overwhelmingly vast. You are competing in many cases with hundreds or thousands of
other companies who may be selling the same product or offering the same service as you. We will not make any grand claims about how a web site will launch your business into the Fortune 500. A website
is only part of a marketing strategy.
Assume you are going to open a business with a physical store front. You want people to show up on opening day, right? For that to happen you will need to spend time talking to people about the grand opening,
sending emails and flyers to your friends, family, associates, etc. Otherwise when opening day arrives, you may be the only one at your store. The same is even more true for a website.
